Barley Soup Recipe
1 pound chunked beef
1/4 cup Pearled Barley
6 cups Organic Vegatable Broth
1 cup carrots, sliced
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup onions
1 cup fresh peas
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
soy sauce( optional )
salt (optional )
Cook whatever beef until tender. Put barley and broth in heavy sauce pan. Cover and simmer until barley is tender (about 1 hour ). Add remaining ingredients except the beef. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender. Add the beef and let simmer for 15 mins. Add parsley if you want and remove from heat.
